The performance element of the course is accountable for 30% of the GCSE and is made up of a solo performance as well as a group performance.

​

SOLO: There are 4 different solo's provided by AQA. These are: 

                      FLUX            SHIFT           BREATHE            SCOOP

            For the exam you will learn and perform 2 of these solo's to a

           metronome and will be filmed to be marked

​

GROUP DANCE: The group dance is devised around a stimulus and each of you will be marked individually.

​

For each of these performances, you will be marked on your physical, technical, expressive and mental skills which are defined below!
